- Favorite shoes for walking and relaxing
- Toiletries and personal care items

- Photos, artwork, or keepsakes that bring joy

If your family is helping you move, create a “day one” essentials bag with everything you need right away: a change of clothes, snacks, your phone and charger, and personal items. That way, unpacking can be done at your own pace while you settle in comfortably.
