Making the decision about an Assisted Living or Memory Care community for your loved one isn’t easy. I know. I’ve been there. I was discouraged with the care my grandmother received in her advanced stages of life. I understand what a huge challenge it is to find a community that you and your family can feel completely at ease with.
Each and every one of our team members at The Club at Boynton Beach is dedicated to our residents. And it takes all of us to make The Club exceptional, from dining to accounting and maintenance to marketing.
Executive Director
Jim attended college at Francis Marion University, where he received his bachelor’s in political science and government. With his spirit of teamwork and dedication from sports, his energy for improving lives as a lifeguard, and his academic fervor for leadership and administration, Jim moved to South Florida to work in senior living. For four and a half years, he served as Dining Room Manager at The Waterford in Juno Beach. During this time, he attended Lynn University in pursuit of his master’s in healthcare administration. In 2005, he became an Administrator at Abbey Delray and excelled in this position for 10 years before being promoted to Executive Director. Since then, Jim has served as Executive Director at both Brookdale and Discovery Village and been certified by the National Healthcareer Association. Now, he leads the team at The Club, breathing life into our mission to provide upscale senior living solutions with a focus on health and wellness.

“All my life, cooking has been my passion.” As early as six years old, Carlinz Thelemaque’s mother started teaching him to cook. Originally from Haiti, Carlinz moved to West Palm Beach almost 25 years ago. In 2000, Carlinz started as a busser at Brookdale Senior Living. In three short months, he was promoted to a server, and in a year, he became a line cook. After that, he was promoted to Management Trainee, and then to Associate Director of Dining, and then to Director of Dining Services. In the summer of 2018, Carlinz settled down in Boynton Beach to work as Director of Culinary Services at Discovery Senior Living. Now, we’re proud to have him as an asset to our team at The Club. For Carlinz, the most rewarding part of working in senior living is learning from residents’ experiences. He believes each person is full of surprises and can share valuable insight into our history and humanity. In return, he says, “I love making a difference in their lives.”

Director Of Sales
Stephanie Bilodeau spent most of her life in New England raising her two children. After moving to Florida in 2013 to escape the harsh New England winters, she began her career in the senior living industry. By helping area seniors move from their homes to different senior living communities, Stephanie gained expertise in downsizing, organizing and designing new spaces for this important, and sometimes difficult, transition in life. Recognizing her passion for navigating the entire process with seniors, she went on to find her niche in sales and marketing. She brings a wealth of knowledge in downsizing and moving coordination to her position as Sales Director at The Club, as well as a genuine understanding of how it feels for those making the move. Knowing that many residents in Florida do not have adult children or other family members nearby, Stephanie especially enjoys building close relationships and being there for residents to lean on every step of the way.

Business Office Manager
Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Erica has worked in the senior living industry since she was 16 years old. Her passion for directing, leading and managing shines through in her position as Business Office Manager at The Club at Boynton Beach. When Erica worked at a previous community, a resident who had Parkinson’s introduced her to jewelry making. She would meet with the resident twice per week for an hour session to help her tie knots, insert clips on the bracelets and earrings, and assist in pictures of her work. From this experience, Erica discovered a love for jewelry making, which eventually led to her hosting beading classes at the community and even to creating her own online jewelry boutique. Before joining the team at The Club, Erica spent the last 12 years at a local independent living community. She has always felt drawn to the senior living industry and can’t imagine working in any other field. Erica has a degree in supervision management and is a mother of two.
Marketing Coordinator
My greatest accomplishment is being a mother to my amazing son, Matthew. We have overcome many challenges that have come our way and continue to be proactive in providing him with all tools he needs to be successful. We could not have done this without the continuous support of our friends and family. Matthew was diagnosed with ASD at a young age. I began my career as a preschool teacher in 2010. In 2017 I started my work with Seniors at an independent living facility. My passion is to help people, from children to the elderly. I continue to grow as a mother and now a marketing coordinator. I look forward to continuing my career and my aspirations to serve the people of my community.
